This marks an 11.4% increase in export value compared to 2020, when global shipments were valued at USD 5.4 billion. However, exports saw a notable decline of 18.4% year-over-year, dropping from USD 7.3 billion in 2023.
The top five global suppliers of industrial robots in 2024 were Japan, Germany, mainland China, Italy, and Denmark. Collectively, these nations were responsible for over 54.8% of the global export volume — highlighting the industry's concentration in a handful of key countries.

By continent, Europe led in export value with shipments worth USD 3 billion, accounting for 50.9% of global totals. Asia followed with 41.5%, while North America contributed approximately 7%.
