In 2024, worldwide exports of natural rubber amounted to US$15.9 billion. This represents a robust 43.3% increase from the $11.1 billion recorded in 2020.
On a year-over-year basis, international shipments of natural rubber grew by 27.4%, rising from $12.5 billion in 2023.
The top five exporters—Thailand, Indonesia, Ivory Coast, Vietnam, and Malaysia—accounted for nearly four-fifths (79.1%) of the world’s natural rubber exports in 2024, highlighting the dominance of this concentrated group of suppliers.
Asia led global exports with shipments worth $11.7 billion, or 73.4% of the total.
Africa ranked second, providing 19.4% of the global total.
Europe followed with a 5% share.
Smaller contributions came from Latin America (1.5%) excluding Mexico but including the Caribbean, North America (0.6%), and Oceania (0.04%), the latter mainly represented by Papua New Guinea, Norfolk Island, and Australia.

The fastest-growing exporters from 2023 to 2024 were: Ghana (+104.1%), Liberia (+87.9%), Myanmar (+87.3%), and Vietnam (+49.8%).
Those with the slowest growth included: United States (+1.9%), Philippines (+5.3%), Guatemala (+6.1%), and Cambodia (+6.6%).
