Introduction:The company is a holding company that is primarily engaged in the manufacture, marketing, and distribution of drugs and cosmetics, veterinary and agricultural products, packaging and chemicals, and household detergents. It is also involved the provision of insurance services and hospital needs. The company was formed in 1958 with the aim of collecting small savings to form a capital of a large company and to direct these savings towards industrialization of Turkey. It is traded on the Istanbul Stock Exchange under the trading symbol DEVA. Its registered head office is located in Istanbul, Turkey.<br>The company is one of the largest pharmaceutical groups in Turkey and one of the leading branded generic players in the market. It has 75 products in 185 pharmaceutical forms, 68 branded generic products, and seven licensed products. It has five production plants in Turkey - the Deva Pharma Plant, Deva Cerkezkoy Plant, Depa API Plant, Carlo Erba Pharma Plant, and Detas Ampoule Plant. The company's products are marketed under brands that include Amoklavin BID, Azitro, Azitrotek, Cefaks, Cezol, Ciflosin, Demoksil, Desefin, Getamisin, Kemicetine, Klinoksin, Linosin, and Monodoks. Most of the products are exported mainly to South Korea, Jordan, Switzerland, Thailand, the Netherlands, Chile, Bahamas, Morocco, Guatemala, India, Romania, Germany, Pakistan, Spain, Indonesia, Korea, Brazil, France, Italy, and Taiwan.
