Introduction:This company is engaged in development, manufacture and distribution of epoxy resins and special resins for a wide range of industrial applications. It was incorporated in November 1994 and has its registered office in Leuna, Germany.<br>The company is a major player in Germany's chemical industry. It offers high quality products and services for special industrial applications. Its three main products are Epilox Systems, Leumal, and L2-Resin, all with a wide variety of applications. Epilox is an epoxy resin-based binding agent which is used in paints, coatings and adhesives for civil and electrical engineering, molds and machine construction. The Leumal products are based on styrene maleic anhydride copolymers. These are effective hydrophobing agents for the paper and leather industry, as well as pigment-dispersing agents for printing inks and varnishes. L2-resin is a cyclohexanone formaldehyde resin, which is used as modifying agent for varnishes and paints to improve their drying-trough capacity, light fastness and hardness.<br>The company's subproducts include injection systems, corrosion protection systems, casting laminating resins, fiber reinforced resins (standard laminating system), low viscosity laminating system with long pot life, compatible laminating systems with adjustable reactivity, reactive diluents which demonstrates good resistance to UV-light, solventless coatings for construction application, isophoronediamine hardener for warm and heat curing, and paint additive (ketone-formaldehyde-resin) for alkyd- and nitrocellulose paints for printing inks and PU systems.<br>The company operates an epoxy resin plants and a bisphenol plant in Leuna. It has an annual production of approximately 15,000 tons of chemicals, and has increased its capacity to 40,000 t/a liquid epoxy resins. Its quality management system is certified according to DIN ISO 9001: 2000.
