Introduction:The company is engaged in the retail sale and marketing of pharmaceuticals, hospital equipment, surgical products and consumables, cosmetics, perfumes and beauty care, consumer products, and veterinary products. It is one of the oldest Pharmacies in Oman and the largest in the Sultanate. It started in the year 1968. The company has a registered business headquarters located in Muscat in Oman.<br>The company has grown to have 66 retail outlets. It is the only pharmacy having 33 pharmacies in the interior areas. This truly reflects the its commitment in bringing healthcare as close as possible to the people of Oman. It represents a number of manufacturers of world repute in pharmaceuticals, hospital equipment, surgical products and consumables, cosmetics, perfumes and beauty care, consumer products, and veterinary products. Some of the major international pharmaceutical companies it represents are AstraZeneca; Aventis; Bayer; Boehringer Ingelheim; Boots Healthcare; Bristol Meyers Squibb; Essex Chemie (Schering Plough); F.Trenka; GlaxoSmithKline; Johnson & Johnson (Cilag); Merck AG; Novartis Pharma; Novo Nordisk; Pfizer/Pharmacia; Schering AG; UCB; and Wyeth. The sales and promotion of pharmaceuticals are carried out by Medical Representatives.<br>The company has four large warehouses close to its head office at Wadi Kabir. One is exclusively used for pharmaceutical products and the others are used to store consumer, surgical, and laboratory products and equipment. There is also a depot in Sohar, to serve the nearby customers quickly.
