In 2024, the international trade of aerospace-related products generated US$327.1 billion in global export revenues.
This figure reflects a 48.1% increase from 2020 levels, when the export value stood at $220.9 billion. On a yearly basis, aerospace exports saw a 6.9% uptick compared to the $306 billion recorded in 2023.
Aerospace goods—including aircraft, spacecraft, satellites, and related components—are categorized under Harmonized Tariff Code 88, a two-digit prefix that streamlines international trade tracking.
In 2024, the top five aerospace exporting nations were: United States, France, Germany, United Kingdom, Canada
Together, these countries accounted for an impressive 73.3% of total global aerospace exports, highlighting a highly concentrated group of dominant suppliers in the sector.
Export Performance by Continent
·North America topped the charts, contributing 45.9% of global aerospace export value.
·Europe followed with a 38.8% share.
·Asia rounded out the top three at 12.6%.
Other regions contributed modestly:
·Latin America (excluding Mexico) and the Caribbean: 1.7%
·Oceania (led by Australia and New Zealand): 0.6%
·Africa: 0.5%
