Lebanon's top ten exports account for almost two-thirds (65.1%) of the value of its global exports.

Plastics, both as a material and as items made from plastic products, are the fastest growing of the top ten export categories, growing by 231.3% from 2021 to 2022. The second highest improvement in export sales was in fertilizers, which grew by 59.7%. Lebanon's shipments of electrical machinery and equipment ranked third in terms of growth, increasing by 35.9%.

The biggest drop in Lebanon's top ten export categories was fruits and nuts, down -50.2% year-on-year.

At the finer four-digit Harmonized Tariff System (HTS) code level, unset and unset diamonds (11.3% of Lebanon's global total) represent Lebanon's most valuable export in 2022.
