In 2024, worldwide headphone exports reached a total value of US$15.4 billion.
Compared with five years earlier in 2020—when global headphone shipments were valued at approximately US$15.25 billion—overall export values showed minimal change, averaging a modest 0.9% increase across all exporting countries.
On a year-over-year basis, global headphone export revenues rose by 8.1%, up from US$14.2 billion in 2023.
The top three headphone-exporting countries worldwide were mainland China, Vietnam, and Germany. Together, these three nations generated 35.6% of total global headphone export value in 2024.
From a regional standpoint, Asia dominated international headphone exports in 2024, shipping products worth US$7.1 billion, which represented 45.9% of the global total. Europe ranked second with a 43.3% share, while North America accounted for roughly 10% of worldwide exports.
Smaller portions came from Oceania (0.4%), led mainly by Australia and New Zealand; Latin America (0.3%), excluding Mexico but including Caribbean nations; and Africa, which contributed just 0.1%.
