In 2025, the Kingdom of Thailand exported goods worth approximately US$338 billion to markets worldwide.

This export value represents a 26.4% increase compared with the $267.5 billion recorded five years earlier in 2021. On a year-to-year basis, Thai exports also rose 13% from $299.2 billion in 2024.

Thailand's export performance accounted for about 1.4% of total global exports, which were estimated at $23.924 trillion in 2025. This share was slightly higher than the 1.3% recorded in the previous year, indicating steady growth in the country’s role in global trade.

The five largest destinations for Thai exports were the United States, China, Japan, India and Malaysia. Together, these five markets purchased around 48.6% of Thailand's total exports in 2025, making them the most important buyers of Thai products.

From a regional perspective, Asian markets dominated Thailand’s export destinations, receiving roughly 56% of total export value. Buyers in North America accounted for 23.8%, while European importers represented 11.7%.

Smaller portions of Thai exports were shipped to other regions, including Oceania (4.1%), mainly driven by Australia and New Zealand. Meanwhile, Africa accounted for about 2.1%, and Latin America represented roughly 2.2%, excluding Mexico but including Caribbean markets.
