Positioned at the crossroads of Africa and Asia through the Sinai Peninsula, the Arab Republic of Egypt exported goods worth approximately US$51.4 billion worldwide in 2025.

Compared with 2021, when Egyptian exports totaled $43.6 billion, this represents an increase of 17.8%. On a year-over-year basis, Egypt's export value climbed by 14.6% from $44.8 billion in 2024.

According to average exchange rates in 2025, the Egyptian pound weakened by 10.6% against the US dollar. The depreciation of the local currency made Egypt's exports more competitively priced for international buyers using stronger foreign currencies.
