Located on the Arabian Peninsula in Western Asia, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia exported goods valued at approximately US$305.4 billion worldwide in 2024. Saudi Arabia's export sector continues to play a vital role in the global energy and industrial supply chain, supported by the country's strong oil, petrochemical, and manufacturing industries.

Compared with 2020, when Saudi exports totaled $173.1 billion, this figure represents a strong 76.4% increase over the five-year period.

However, on a year-over-year basis, Saudi Arabia's export revenues declined by 4.9%, down from $321 billion recorded in 2023.

Leading Products in Saudi Arabia's Export Portfolio

Mineral fuels and petroleum-based products dominate the country's overseas shipments, while petrochemicals, plastics, fertilizers, and industrial machinery continue gaining international market share.

The ongoing diversification of Saudi Arabia's export industries also reflects the country's broader economic transformation strategy, which aims to strengthen non-oil exports and expand manufacturing capabilities.
