Bronze, an alloy of copper and tin, may also include small amounts of other metals such as aluminum, zinc, lead, or silver, depending on its intended application. The alloy is widely used in industries requiring corrosion-resistant materials or in processes like galvanization, where it is used to coat steel or iron. Additionally, its durable and non-brittle nature makes it ideal for shipbuilding, machinery parts, coins, and sculptures.
