This product category is driven by increased international revenues from Burundi's gold exports. The second highest growth in Burundi's export sales was in the mineral fuels, including petroleum products category, which grew by 120.8%, with refined petroleum leading the way. Burundi's exports of milling products, malt and starch grew the third fastest, by 82.7%.
The only decline in Burundi's top 10 export categories was in ores, slag and ash, down -78.1% year-on-year.
